Let’s examine the notable models that shaped the 2019 ultrabook market.
9. ASUS Zenbook UX310UA
With good reason, this model is among the best ultrabooks available in 2019. Asus made every effort to fully charge the platform. The model may be regarded as an item that is best purchased as a low-cost, versatile partner.

There are USB Type-C ports of the most recent generation, and the matrix resolution is in line with the QHD + standard. 8. Huawei Matebook X
This model is referred to as a contender for leadership in the category of devices with a 13.3-inch screen diagonal as we continue our review of ultrabooks. The Huawei Matebook X is a fascinating device.
Note: The cost is perhaps its biggest disadvantage. While the model is not much more expensive than its Pro counterpart, it lacks many of its features.
This ultrabook comes with all the features that are exclusive to Huawei in addition to a very fashionable design. This features a fingerprint-sensing information security system, superb display, and high-quality sound. Even with an integrated video card, the hardware platform’s features enable the playing of demanding games at moderate settings. The best resource-hungry entertainment apps from 2016 to 2017 will have to be accepted at the very least in terms of quality.
- high-quality assembly, materials;
- solid-state hard drive;

7. Apple MacBook Pro 13 with Retina display and Touch Bar
The Apple giant’s ultrabook, which ranks among the top 10, surpasses its Chinese competitor for the top spot solely because of its superior screen quality and higher operational cost. For individuals who are used to utilizing the products of the well-known American brand, everything is right here. This model boasts an excellent Retina Display screen, up to 8 GB of optional RAM (up to DDR4), and up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge. For gamers, there is a separate graphics card.
Remarkably, the Apple MacBook Pro 13 with Touch Bar and Retina display is positioned more like a laptop. However, its 13.3-inch diagonal display, 1.37 kg weight, and lack of disk drives simply force us to classify it as an ultrabook.

6. Acer SWIFT 7
The Acer SWIFT 7 is the next 2019 ultrabook under review. Although the model is meticulously designed, there are certain shortcomings. While it performs well with an average statistical load, it overheats at the upper limits, and this gets worse if the device is used in direct sunlight.
However, this cannot be regarded as a dominant factor. The model is excellent. The gadget weighs only 1370 g, which is very light and will appeal to girls. With Windows 10 preinstalled, the device has an Intel Core i5 processor and 8 GB of RAM. This Acer can operate for up to nine hours on a single battery charge. The display has a FullHD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a 13.3-inch diagonal. The naturalness and depth of color can be fully appreciated with a high-quality IPS matrix.

5. Microsoft Surface Laptop 2
Ultrabooks of the second generation, which astounded a lot of users, stand a good chance of taking the lead. However, the model cannot advance due to the unattractive ratio between the price tag and performance indicators.
Crucial! The Microsoft Surface LapTop 2 has up to 85% more productivity than the previous model. Given that its hardware platform is capable of supporting eighth-generation Intel Core i7 processors, this is not surprising.
You can purchase an upgrade with a 1 TB SSD drive, and the device comes with up to 16 GB of RAM. While the 13.5-inch screen is pleasing to the eye with its riot of color, the platform’s gaming performance is lacking. Since there is only an integrated video card in this case, high-end entertainment products cannot operate at their peak performance.
- excellent performance;
- good assembly and materials;
- excellent picture, viewing angles, even in bright light;
- up to 14.5 hours of battery life, the average indicator is up to 9 hours continuously;

4. Lenovo Yoga 920
Lenovo packed her ultrabook with as much technology as possible. Everything starts with the highest-end Core i7 processors and ends with a touch screen. The features of the model will appear prohibitive to the typical user. Massive touch screen is extremely striking. A buyer with an eye will notice that the display density is only 158 dots per inch, which is not the best color gamut as it only covers 72% of the sRGB space. In actuality, this might be regarded as the model’s biggest flaw.
Apart from that, the gadget is amazing. To begin with, it is noteworthy that the Lenovo Yoga 920 emerged victorious in the GeekBench 4 synthetic performance evaluation. The newest games, however, cannot be played at their highest settings; only the integrated video card is available.
Even with everything said about the device’s drawbacks, its popularity remains unaffected. The Lenovo Yoga 920’s display is 360-degree rotating. For those who choose to purchase the maximum configuration, a stylus is provided. You simply cannot look away from this sleek, lightweight, and contemporary gadget.
- lightweight, fast;
- stylish metal case of small thickness;

Yandex Market offers the Lenovo Yoga 920.
3. Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air
A very intriguing ultrabook is available to consumers from China’s fastest-growing brand. He has a good video card with 1 GB DDR5 on board, making him suitable for both work and gaming. Although there is a very good balance, the hardware platform’s indicators are not recorded.
The base configuration of the system includes 8 GB of RAM and an Intel Core i5 processor. 13.3-inch diagonal displays offer superb color rendition, excellent viewing angles, and FullHD resolution of 1920 x 1080. An HDMI connector is provided for connecting TVs and monitors.

- performance;
- excellent picture;
- high-quality speakers;

- no card reader;

Yandex Market offers the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air.
2. Dell XPS 13
With confidence, the Dell ultrabook is putting pressure on the top-ranked model. This is a very high-quality model with a matte screen. This is an IPS matrix with a maximum pixel resolution of 3200×1800. Additionally, the screen has a touchscreen feature.
No remarks regarding the performance either. The model is based on eighth generation Core i5 through Core i7 processors. It is important to note, though, that the reasonably priced modifications’ installed chips do not have the newest cores.
Crucial! The owners’ reviews indicate that there are no issues with heat dissipation. Even at maximum processor loads, there is no throttling and the device heats up very little.
Every task is handled by the platform. Even in demanding games, top assemblies function well, even with an integrated video card. The platform utilizes DDR3L memory up to 16 GB, which is not the highest quality. However, it is just not possible to criticize the other parameters. The most recent WiFi protocols are supported, and other features include a card reader, backlit keyboard, and top-notch speakers. The device can operate for slightly longer than six hours on a single battery charge under mixed load.
- the best screen in the segment of ultrabooks with a diagonal of 13.3 inches;
- thin display frames;
- platform performance;
- very good keyboard and sensitive touchpad;
- weight 1.2 kg;
- quality of materials and assembly.
- some buttons are located non-standardly;
- with graphics overloads, the chokes make noise in some copies;
- disadvantages of proprietary software;

The top ultrabook in the rankings is in perfect alignment with its ranking. Everything is there:
- processors from Core i5 to Core i7 of the eighth generation;
- touch display with a resolution of up to 3000×2000 pixels;
- speakers on the front panel;
- fingerprint scanner on the power button;
- discrete video card with good performance;
- optimized power consumption.
We could go on and on about the model’s features. However, it is worth noting that the battery life is good, lasting up to 12 hours with a normal load and up to 7 hours with a load above average. The ideal set of connection ports is also present. It also becomes evident why the MateBook X Pro is rated so highly when you consider the price. In all parameters, the model achieves characteristics that are nearly maximal.
- the display is beyond praise, the diagonal is 13.9 inches, thin frames;
- performance;
- assembly and materials;
- no excess software;
- excellent sound;
- no overheating, good heat dissipation.
- unexpected camera placement on the lower display frame;
- unprotected display cables are visible in the swivel hinge;
- no video adapter is included in the package;
- high-pitched noise from the cooling fan at maximum load;
